Central unit

The central unit is the fundamental piece in the management of the protocol of our 400 Compact and 400 Modular Multiroom Audio Systems.

The main features of the Central Unit are :

  • Sound input with automatic adjustment level (55mV to 3.8V).
  • Connector to allow management of the system from a PC using our interface (Ref.434 91)
  • Alpha-numeric keypad with 15 keys for menu and setting functions according to users needs.
  • Adjustable lighting for display screen.
  • Easy to use intuitive menu's programmable in several languages.

The Control Unit (Ref. 414 A2) used in the Central Unit incorporates a FM tuner with direct station tuning. Manual and automatic scan. Adjustable sensitivity and 20 pre-set memories. Radio frequency is displayed on the screen

If the installation is large, additional Power Supply Units may be added as considered necessary (See Accesories Section).

The Central Unit requires at least one 14W Power Supply (Ref. 112 95) or one 30W Power Supply (Ref. 112 96).

Compact control units

The main features common to both Control Units are as follows:

  • Input for 6 audio channels.
  • Input for CD/DVD Audio, MP3 Player or iPod.
  • Stereo Output of 1.5 W + 1.5 W for 16 Ohm loudspeakers.
  • Alpha-numeric keypad for easy setting functions.
  • Infrared receiver to allow use of Remote Control Unit (Ref. 427 91).
  • Adjustable lighting for display screen.
  • Easy and intuitive menus, programmable in several languages.
  • Clock / calendar.
  • Two alarm clocks with "sleep" function.
  • Intercom system with hands-free auto response.
  • Baby monitor function.
  • Remote Control of the FM Tuner (Ref. 414 A2) included in the Central Unit

The Control Unit (Ref. 422 A2) includes an FM Tuner with direct keying-in of radio frequency, manual and automatic scan, sensitivity adjustment, 20 memory presets and display screen shows radio frequency.

The power of the output from this Control Unit can be increased by adding a Stereo Amplifier (ref. 131 02) or a Power Amplifier (ref. 132 03).

The following Control Units are available to allow users to customize their needs.

CONTROL UNIT WITH DISPLAY SCREEN, 2 AUDIO CHANNELS AND INTERCOM (REF. 428 A1).

The main features of this Unit are as follows:

  • 2 channel input.
  • Stereo output 1,5 W + 1,5 W for 16 Ohm loudspeakers.
  • Input for CD/DVD Audio, MP3 Player or iPod.
  • Intercom with hands-free auto response.
  • Remote control of the FM tuner (Ref. 414 A2) integrated in the Central Unit.
  • Display screen icons for menu and functions.
  • Adjustable lighting for display screen that shows radio frequency, clock and calendar.
  • Baby monitor function.
  • Alarm clock and "sleep" function.

An FM Tuner and 4 additional sound channels can be added by combining this Control Unit (Ref. 428 A1) with an Auxiliary Unit (Ref. 429 91) or Ref. 429 92).

This Unit is always combined with the Control Unit with Display screen, 2 Audio channels and Intercom (Ref. 428 A1)

The main features of this Auxiliary Unit are as follows:

  • FM Tuner and 4 stereo audio channels.
  • Alpha-numeric keyboard for quick and easy use of the different functions.
  • Direct key-in of radio station frequency.
  • Zone selection for intercom calls.

When installing the Auxiliary Control Unit (Ref. 429 91) it is necessary to purchase the corresponding face cover plate (Ref. 429 X1) separately.

Available in several colors.

AUXILIARY UNIT WITH FM TUNER, 4 AUDIO CHANNELS AND INFRARED RECEIVER FOR REMOTE CONTROL (REF. 429 92)

This Unit is always combined with the Control Unit with Display screen, 2 Audio channels and Intercom (Ref. 428 A1).

The Remote Control used is (Ref. 427 91). When installing the Auxiliary Unit (Ref. 429 92) it is necessary to purchase the corresponding face cover plate (Ref. 429 X2) separately.

CONTROL UNIT WITH DISPLAY SCREEN, 2 AUDIO CHANNELS, INTERCOM AND FM TUNER REF. 428 A4

This Control Unit which has all the same functions as the (Ref. 428 A1)   also includes its own FM Tuner. When installing the Auxiliary Unit (Ref. 428 A4) it is necessary to purchase the corresponding face cover plate (Ref. 428 X1) separately.

Available in several colors.

The Auxiliary Units (Ref. 429 91 and Ref. 429 92) cannot be combined with this Control Unit.

The power of the output from any of the above Control Units can be increased by adding a Stereo Amplifier (Ref. 131 02) or a Power Amplifier
