Where are the wall panels?

With the i500 Series, we've built the controller intelligence into the ceiling speaker. You operate the entire system with one or more Remote Controls. There are no wall panels, keypads or different finishes clashing with your light switches.

Made for iPod

The i500 Series is our first product Made for iPod.

When you plug your iPod into the included dock the wireless Remote gives you full control over your music - from any room in the house. The sharp 2.2" LCD screen shows all your iPod content - tracks; artists; albums; even playlists - giving you the choice of your entire music collection.

... and everything else.

The Central Unit includes a CD Audio player and an FM tuner in one neat unit. No need to buy those devices separately. Again, the CD and tuner can be controlled from anywhere else in the house by the Remote Control.

In addition, the Central Unit allows you to connect 2 additional devices (including your iPod). Connect your DVD player as a second disc device or your satellite receiver to ensure you can keep an ear on the TV!

And there's more

Ironically enough, our customers tell us that the most used features are the ones that don't require distributed audio - the local input, the independent FM tuner and the intercom. And these are included with the i500 Series too.

Intercom and Paging

The intercom on the i500 Series is our finest yet. The screen allows you to choose which room you want to talk to and a tiny mic built right into the Remote picks up your voice.

Local Input

Again, our goal with the i500 Series was to get rid of the wall panels. But how could we get a local input without a physical connection?

Simply connect your iPod or Mp3 Player directly to the Remote Control. The Remote connects wirelessly to the speaker overhead and your music plays through. Truely wireless audio.

Independent FM

The Central Unit includes an FM tuner which distributes your chosen station to all the rooms in your home. In addition, the intelligent speaker in each zone includes it's own tuner allowing you to choose your own choice of radio in your room.
